Creating FTP accounts

To begin creating FTP accounts in Kloxo, you will need to navigate to the domain's control panel. To get to the domain control panel, click domains from the tab selection at the top of the page after logging in.


Once you are inside the Domain control panel, you will see the FTP users icon.



Next, to add an FTP user, click Add FTP user:



Fill in the information like the example below to configure your FTP account:


Once you have entered the information for this account, click add. This will create and add a standard FTP user to your account with access to only the directory you have chosen.

To connect to this created account, you will need to use the following settings in your favorite FTP client. We recommend FileZilla. (http://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client)

Specify the Host Name : yourdomainname.com (no ftp. or www. in front of it)
Port : 21
Protocol: FTP
Encryption: Plain FTP
Logon Type : Normal
Username : created username
Password : created password

Click Connect
